The Naturalist - Kentucky's Best Hot Tub Feature | Sleeps 4 | Dogs

We stayed at the naturalist October 3-5 2025 and we had the best weekend ever! As Louisville residents, and myself as a medical student, we were dying to have a nature filled relaxing escape and this fulfilled our expectations. The hot tub was perfect for a soak after a day filled with beautiful hiking and we especially enjoyed sitting by the fire roasting s’more’s at the end of the night! Mike was very accommodating and helpful to us the entire process and we thoroughly loved our stay. We highly recommend staying at the naturalist to anyone and everyone:)

Mike is the best host I've ever dealt with. Crazy responsive and helpful. Great little cabin with awesome amenities. Believe them when they say four wheel/AWD is a must. The road in and out is rugged.

We traveled to the mountains of Kentucky for our 15 yr anniversary weekend. It was the perfect trip. After 15 years of marriage and 3 beautiful children, we were ultimately looking for time for just the 2 of us. We have a beautiful, busy, crazy life full of love and chaotic schedules. This cabin and the serenity that surrounds it was perfect for us. We were able to disconnect from the world, recharge ourselves, and reconnect with each other in the quiet hills that surrounded us. It was perfect for us. We highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay. They thought of every little detail. And host was by far the best. Was so quick to respond and even went over and beyond to help us stay one extra night.
